Mobile Savant

With Asset Insights’ Mobile Savant™ you have the ability to use handheld devices to identify and locate tagged items anywhere. The Mobile Savant™ is an application designed to run on a variety of portable or handheld RFID Readers, PDA’s, and Mobile Phones to provide access to information about tagged items, remote tag encoding, tag data capture, and the capability to locate items within the nearby area or on maps.

The Mobile Savant has access to the RFID Savant™ repository, as well as the ability to read and write RFID tags, barcodes and sensors (depending on the capabilities of the attached reader). The device wireless interface (using WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G/4G, GPRS, etc) can provide users with real-time access to robust information in any location. Alternatively, information can be exchanged when the device is returned to its cradle.
